Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Concentration, A.A.S.

The Advanced EMT concentration provides a student the competencies necessary to assume the role of a leader in Emergency Medical Services or Public Safety. Upon completion of this concentration, the graduate possesses the skills and abilities to function in the workforce as an Emergency Medical Technician.

To facilitate success in this program, all students should enroll in ORN 1010 - Orientation: Learning to Succeed  during their first semester at DSCC.

This concentration is specifically designed for students who plan to enter the workforce after graduation. Students who plan to pursue a higher degree should plan to meet with the EMS Program Director or faculty member.
