Pre-Clinical Laboratory Sciences Emphasis (Tennessee Transfer Pathway), A.S.


The Pre-Clinical Laboratory Sciences emphasis (Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Sciences) provides students various foundational courses in the field of laboratory science. The student completes the first two years of requirements leading toward a baccalaureate degree.

To facilitate success in this program, all students should enroll in ORN 1010 - Orientation: Learning to Succeed  during their first semester at DSCC.

**The UT Health Science Center requires the BIOL 1110 - General Biology I , BIOL 1120 - General Biology II  sequence; ONE can be substituted for BIOL 2020 - Human Anatomy and Physiology II .

***BIOL 2230 - Microbiology  may satisfy an upper level course requirement at a university.
