ACADEMIC CALENDAR 2026 - 2027

Please make note of the deadlines listed in the Academic Calendar, since some dates fall on weekends or holidays. Students without home access to the Internet are encouraged to utilize DSCC computer resources or to contact the One Stop Centers by calling 731-286-3350, 731-407-7300, or 901-475-3100.

Academic Calendar Fall 2026

FALL SEMESTER 2026 AUGUST 24, 2026, THROUGH DECEMBER 11, 2026

Dates may differ for TN eCampus. Check the TN eCampus academic calendar online.

March 16- August 25

Advising and registration for the Fall Semester for current, new, and readmitting students.

Currently enrolled students should register by May 2nd for the best course selection.

Students completing a degree or certificate in 2026-2027 should complete the Intent to Graduate form with their academic advisor. There is no cost to candidates for graduation.

Candidates completing their program in fall 2026 who have filed the Intent to Graduate form by September 25, 2026, will be eligible to participate in the December 10, 2026, commencement, provided they also submit a cap and gown order to the DSCC Follett Bookstore by DEADLINE TBD. Students completing degree requirements in fall 2026 who miss the form deadline may instead participate in the May 8, 2026, ceremony if their cap and gown order is submitted to the DSCC Follett Bookstore by March 1, 2027.

Candidates completing their program in spring or summer 2027 who have filed the Intent to Graduate form and submitted cap and gown orders to the DSCC Follett Bookstore by March 1, 2027, will be invited to participate in the May 8, 2027, commencement.

August 3

Priority date for Fall Semester financial aid processing. Documents turned in after this date may not be processed before fee payment must be finalized.

August 10

Fees must be paid or properly enrolled in a Deferred Payment Plan (DPP) by 11:30 p.m. to retain the current class schedule.

August 17

Fall Update for faculty and staff - Dyersburg Student Center - 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. College offices will open at 1:00 p.m.

Intent to Graduate forms due for candidates completing their program in fall 2026.
