This course is an introduction to organic chemistry and includes the study of aliphatic and aromatic organic compounds with the emphasis on nomenclature, structure, reactions, reaction mechanisms, simple organic synthesis and stereo chemistry. 3 hours lecture, 4 hours laboratory.
