MATH 1420 - Geometry Concepts for Teachers

Credits: 3
As Needed
Prerequisites: ACT Mathematics subscore of 22 or greater OR COMPASS Algebra score of 50 greater OR grade of C or better in MATH 1005  OR DSPM 0850.

This course emphasizes the metric system, introductory elements of probability and statistics, and the basic concepts of geometry including congruence, similarity, measurements, areas, and volumes. 3 hours lecture.
