This course is an introduction to the American Criminal Justice System with an emphasis on handling evidence and suspects, the U.S. Constitution, individual rights, criminal court procedures, the Exclusionary Rule, probable cause, arrest procedures, search warrants, stop and frisks, admissions, interrogations and confessions, and the legal requirements to be followed in processing criminal evidence and defendants. 3 hours lecture.
