PSCI 1010 - Principles of Physical Science

This course is an overview of the nature of science and basic aspects of physical sciences, aimed at presenting the essentials of physics and chemistry in a clear, easy-to-understand way. The course encompasses the nature of science, the measurement process, physics of motion, energy, fluids, heat and temperature, electricity and magnetism, waves, sound waves and light, the atom and the periodic table. 3 hours lecture, 2 hours laboratory.
