Prerequisites: ACT Mathematics sub score between 19 and 21 OR a COMPASS Algebra score between 38 and 49 OR a Classic Accuplacer score of 92 or greater OR a Next Generation Accuplacer score of 250 or greater OR successful completion of Math competencies 1-5 OR DSPM 0800 OR concurrent enrollment in 0105.

This course emphasizes the study of polynomial, rational, radical, exponential, and logarithmic functions. Real world applications relating mathematical concepts to other disciplines are presented throughout the course. 3 hours lecture.
