The Paramedic concentration provides a student with the competencies necessary to assume the role of a leader in Emergency Medical Services or Public Safety. Upon completion of this concentration, the graduate possesses the skills and abilities to function in the workforce as a Paramedic in a leadership role.

This concentration is specifically designed for students who plan to enter the workforce after graduation. Students who plan to pursue a higher degree should meet with the EMS Program Director or faculty member.
To facilitate success in this program, all students should enroll in ORN 1010 - Orientation: Learning to Succeed during their first semester at DSCC.
