Supply Chain Management (Tennessee Transfer Pathway), A.S.

The Supply Chain Management emphasis is designed to provide the student with the first two years of education necessary to complete a baccalaureate degree in Supply Chain Management.

To facilitate success in this program, all students should enroll in ORN 1010 - Orientation: Learning to Succeed  during their first semester at DSCC.

TOTAL: 62 Semester Hours


(1) Recommended PHIL 130 or PHIL 1040

(2) One course must be in literature.

(3) Students who intend to transfer to UT Knoxville should take three (3) credit hours on a non-U.S. History course.  Students who intend to trnasfer to APSU, TTU, or TSU should take American History.  UTM does not accept TN History.  Recommend HIST 2020 or HIST 2320, students who have taken US History in high school are recommended to take World History or Western Civilization.

(4) Recommended BIO 1020 and BIOL 1120 or BIOL 1110 and BIOL 1120.

(5) Students who plan to transfer to UT Knoxville will be required to complete MATH 2050: Calculus-based Probability and Statistics.

(6) Students transferring to ETSU, MTSU, TSU, or UTK should take MATH 1630.  Students transferring to TTU, UOM, UTC or UTM should take a college algebra course.

(7) MATH 1830: Applied Calculus or equivalent calculus course is required at UTK, UofM, UTC, and TSU.  MATH 1830: Applied Calculus or equivalent is NOT required at UTM, TTU, ETSU, or MTSU.

Note: General electives must be selected from courses which are part of a Tennessee Transfer Pathway.  Consult the Course Descriptions section in this catalog.  Courses which are designated as **Not Part of a Tennessee Transfer Pathway** should not be taken as general electives.
