ENGL 1010 - English Composition I

F, Sp, Su - Dyersburg/F, Sp, Su - JNC
Prerequisites: ENGL 0810 , READ 0810  - ENGL 0810 and READ 0810 may be taken concurrently with permission.

This course focuses on writing, revising, intensive reading for meaning and ways of expressing meaning; writing with emphasis on paragraph and essay organization, structure and style; attention to grammar and mechanics; and the further use of critical thinking skills in the application of rhetorical modes. 3 hours lecture.
