AHSC 1200 - Certified Nursing Assistant

Credits: 3
**Not Part of a Tennessee Transfer Pathway**

As Needed
Co-requisites: AHSC 1210  

Nursing assistants work in a variety of settings, ranging from within the home, to an office or a clinic, or to an extended care or acute care hospital setting. This course will teach students classroom skills needed to be successful as a nursing assistant, including patient confidentiality, documentation, rights of patients, and anatomy and physiology issues. 3 hours lecture.
